In 2024 we helped the Municipality of Lecco in the process of citizen engagement in preparation for the elaboration of the new urban development plan (Piano di Governo del Territorio), the strategic document that defines how the city will evolve in the future. The participatory process focused on three areas in particular: the Gerenzone valley, the former railway hub Piccola Velocit\u00e0 and the Chiuso and Maggianico neighborhoods. These areas were selected for their historical, environmental and social significance, as well as for their regeneration potential. Itinerari Paralleli organized and facilitated three meetings open to citizens, engaging the community in an active dialogue to gather needs, desires and directions about these places. To foster dialogue, different working methods were used depending on the themes and participants: from urban walks to creative workshops and assemblies. The data collected were shared with the public administration with the aim of including them in the new plan, in order to design a shared future of the city.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
