Voci di Comunità (“Voices of the Community”) is a project by BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, developed in collaboration with Itinerari Paralleli and Bardha Mimòs ETS. It is an initiative focused on mapping, listening, and community engagement in the neighborhoods of Dergano and Bovisa.
The project’s primary goal was to understand the cultural needs of local communities and to promote culture and social inclusion through a program of free activities, engaging residents and community groups in Dergano and Bovisa.
The initiative continued with a listening phase, during which cultural needs were explored through semi-structured interviews and a participatory workshop—a shared space designed to foster dialogue and bring to light valuable insights and ideas.
The final outcome of the project is a report documenting its results, accompanied by a toolkit for active community listening—a methodological resource intended to support the replication of the Voci di Comunità approach in other contexts.
