The project aims to carry out innovative monitoring of rock-dwelling birdlife in the Natura 2000 site of Castel dell’Ermo in Val Pennavaire, to assess the impact of sporting activities on the local ecosystem and define a management system shared with the local area. As Itinerari Paralleli, we oversaw the definition of a territorial governance system in light of the monitoring results that emerged. We also designed and developed an environmental communication system, installed in the area, to disseminate the project results and raise awareness among visitors of the need for environmental protection.
